At GCG Headquarters, the Recruitment Systems Associate is a vital support role within GCG’s HQ People & Culture team, working closely with the Head of Recruitment to build and optimise our internal recruitment systems while delivering smooth, consistent, and high-quality hiring processes across the organisation.

What’s in it for you?

  • Build your professional network: Work alongside and learn from volunteers across industry-leading organisations such as LEK Consulting, EY, SEEK, and more.
  • Develop your skills: Gain practical exposure to real recruitment and onboarding processes across multiple teams and levels.
  • Create meaningful impact: Collaborate with a vibrant community of purpose-led individuals to achieve real-world outcomes and a chance to leave a legacy.
  • Flexible, remote work: Volunteer with the reassurance that tasks and expectations are designed to fit around your full-time role or study load.

In this role, you will:

  • Build & Optimise Our Recruitment ATS: Design, configure, and refine candidate tracking workflows within NocoDB, helping transform our Google Workspace setup into a streamlined internal ATS.
  • Support End-to-End Recruitment: Gain hands-on experience with candidate screening, interview scheduling, and applicant communications across HQ vacancies.

To be a successful candidate, you will:

  • Be passionate about social impact and improving processes.
  • Be able to contribute 3-5 hours per week
  • Be a curious, tech-minded problem solver interested in tools like NocoDB, databases, or workflow automation (no advanced coding required - just a drive to build and learn!).
  • Have strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and an interest in recruitment or HR systems
  • Be a strong communicator who can manage stakeholders with clarity and professionalism
