Key Duties:

• Deliver Beacon of Hope Project flyers to letterboxes in Wollongong, Unanderra, Shellharbour and surrounds.
• Note areas completed
• Respect "No Junk Mail" signs and residents' property

Skills and experience:

• No experience needed, just reliability and a friendly, respectful attitude
• Comfortable walking outdoors (ability to chose the days & hours that suits your personal circumstances)
• Able to follow a basic street map

Beacon of Hope Project Inc. is a peer-led community organisation in the Illawarra. We support women with psycho-social disabilities and/or trauma to live lives of meaning, hope and purpose. Lived experience is at the heart of everything we do. We additionally hold monthly inclusive markets where lived experience has broken down barriers of traditional markets.

Your impact

Every flyer you deliver could reach a woman who feels isolated and doesn't yet know support exists. You'll help connect women to peer-led programs, build community awareness, and reduce stigma around mental health and trauma. Also potentially giving a person a chance at an inclusive market due to barriers broken down.
