Livingwater Care Foundation Inc. (LCF) is a newly incorporated Australian humanitarian nonprofit based in Melbourne, supporting refugees living with disabilities through compassionate, community-based humanitarian programs.

Our current work is developing in Malaysia, supporting Burmese refugee communities and refugees living with disabilities through local community connections and coordinators.

Having recently established LCF, we are now strengthening our governance, funding strategy and programs from the ground up. We are looking for one experienced advisor who can provide practical guidance across these areas and help us build a strong foundation for sustainable growth.

What you'll help with:

• Governance — advising on good NFP governance, committee/board development, policies, accountability and organisational systems
• Fundraising — providing guidance on early grant, donor, philanthropic and fundraising strategy, and helping identify potential funding networks
• Program Strategy — advising on program development, sustainability, priorities and practical approaches as LCF grows
• Strategic Connections — where appropriate, helping connect LCF with relevant NFP, philanthropic, community, church, corporate or humanitarian networks

What we're looking for:

• Experienced nonprofit/NFP, NGO, humanitarian or community-sector professional
• Experience across governance, fundraising, program development or strategic planning
• Comfortable working with a very early-stage organisation and helping build things from the ground up
• Able to provide practical advice rather than day-to-day operational support
• Strong professional networks or connections within the NFP, fundraising, philanthropic, community or humanitarian sectors would be highly valued
• Someone who is collaborative, practical and willing to share their experience
