Content Writer
Organisational Background
ASCCA was formed in 1998 as a peak body for a network of computer clubs for seniors. Many Australian seniors are excluded from full participation in society because of low digital literacy. Our vision is that every Australian senior will be a confident and competent user of technology. Our mission is to strengthen senior communities, set national standards, advocate nationally, and prioritise support through trusted partner channels.
The Purpose & Impact of This Role
Clear, engaging writing is one of the most powerful tools we have to reach and support older Australians. As our Content Writer, you will help ASCCA tell its story — sharing practical digital literacy tips, celebrating member and volunteer achievements, and promoting our programs to the wider community. Your words will build confidence in readers who may otherwise feel intimidated by technology, strengthen ASCCA's public profile, and help attract the members, partners and supporters who make our mission possible.
